Set of five reusable bamboo cotton cleansing and makeup remover pads. During the lockdown I saw some nice crocheted cotton cleansing pads on Etsy and they inspired me to teach myself to crochet 🧶 It turns out that it’s slightly addictive and the result are these beautiful, recyclable make up remover pads, made from a yarn with bamboo with a little cotton added. They are super soft, yet the stitching makes them slightly abrasive, which really helps when you are taking your make up off. They are about three inches in diameter. I crocheted them in double thickness yarn so they are strong and substantial. The rounds come in sets of five, in a handy organza bag that you can put in to the washing machine on a gentle 40 degree wash. You can also tumble dry them on cool. Two sets should be enough for a week, and you can use them again and again! Please don’t use bleach on them or use to remove nail varnish as the colour won’t come out.
